Recap the best-dressed and most famous dandy in the events calendar, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual fundraiser: the Met Gala. The “Tailored for You” theme was interpreted by guests in slick suits, capes and hats, as well as the usual grandiose gowns and jewels.

A constellation of pre- and post-events now take place around the legendary gala, not least some equally exclusive after parties. Cue outfit changes, dancing, DJ sets…and an UNO tournament to round out the first Monday in May. This “superfine” gallery of BFA images features highlights from the floral carpet and after parties.
